HOW IT WORKS: When the reverse gear is engaged, the sensor detects obstacles behind the vehicle and provides visual feedback via the marker light.
- No Obstacle: Light stays steady.
- Obstacle Detected: Light flashes, increasing in frequency as the vehicle gets closer, providing a visual cue to the driver in his mirrors.
- Critical Distance and Proximity (2.62 FT): Light stays steady again, signaling the need to stop to prevent collision.
This system ensures enhanced safety by alerting drivers to obstacles during reverse maneuvers.
